Mutiu Adepoju describes Yemen replacement as a good alternative for Super Eagles

A former Super Eagles player, Mutiu Adepoju has described the friendly game against the Yemen national team as a quick and good alternative to replace Sudan.

Nigeria, who lost 0-1 to Ivory Coast last weekend, is scheduled to meet Sudan in their second game, but Sudan pulled out on personal reason, and the NFF have now replaced Sudan with the Yemen national team in the second friendly tomorrow.

Adepoju explained that it will be a better option than not having any team to play with which will even be worse as it will make the players more match rusty.

“There is no match that is retrogressing match; no matter the kind of football game you play whether a friendly or competitive one, you gain something and then you get feedback from it”

“We can Yemen today and play Spain or Germany tomorrow it doesn’t matter as every match is very important. We are even talking about the home base players here where by doing this we are keeping them together and at the end I think it’s going to be good for the players and the team at large” Footballlive
