Enyimba Steal A Point Against MFM FC

Nigeria Professional Football League debutant, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos continued their unbeaten run at the Agege Township stadium on Wednesday, after holding the NPFL defending champions, Enyimba to a barren draw on match day 16.

Enyimba's Nzube Anaezemba saw a second yellow card in the game for diving in MFM's box, forcing Enyimba to end the game with ten men on the pitch, while the coach introduced Mfon Udoh, who forgot his scoring boot at Aba, losing a couple of one-on-one chances, that could have won the game for the visitors.

Udoh replaced Leonard Ugochukwu in the 65th minute as the game ended goalless in front of over four thousand fans.

At the end of the game, Enyimba were happy with the draw and we gathered that despite their failure to pick all three points in Lagos, the defending champions will still get a winning bonus from the club on return to Aba.

Enyimba, who are the only Nigerian club, in the CAF champions league are occupying 13th position on the log with 21points after playing 13 out of the 16 games played so far this season, while MFM are 8th on the log with 23 points, five points shy of the league leaders, Rangers.
