We have moved on from opening campaign loss- Dean Furman

Bafana Bafana skipper, Dean Furman, has said that the 1996 AFCON champions are ready to beat their next opponent, Senegal to keep their hopes of getting to the next level of the championship alive.

The Shakes Mashaba-led side lost their first game after they blew away a 1-0 lead and missed a penalty as they rattled the pre-tournament favourites who later turned the match around to grab a 3-1 win in Mongomo.

The loss has now condemned the Bafana Bafana to win their next game to give their 2015 campaign a massive leap. Senegal and Algeria won their opening games and so could qualify for the last eight if both record wins against Ghana and South Africa respectively.

"It was disappointing against Algeria but the lads have recovered well and we are all looking ahead to the match against Senegal. We know what we need to do and the challenge ahead of us and am confident we will get what we need and make the country proud," Furman said. Cafonline
