Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of winger, Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United on a five-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Zaha, who was sold to the Red Devils in January 2013 for £15m returned to the Selhurst Park on loan this season, and has been impressive for the new coach which earned him a second spell on a permanent deal for the club.
Crystal Palace have also acquired the services of Jordan Mutch and Shola Ameobi to boost their squad in the January transfer window.
Zaha made his debut for Palace back in 2010 after playing in the club’s academy sides since the age of 12.
In January 2013 he agreed to join Manchester United on a five-and-a-half year deal but was immediately loaned back to Palace for the remainder of the 2012/13 season.
Alan Pardew, in his first few games at the club defeated his former club as Crystal Palace dumped Southampton out of the FA Cup fourth-round thriller that ended 3-2.
The winger, who was out of favour with the former Manchester United coach, David Moyes last season, said it is a dream to be back at the club where he began his career.
Zaha has also gone on loan move to Cardiff City in January 2014, before agreeing a season-long return to Selhurst Park last August.
It has now been confirmed that his move back to Palace has become a permanent switch and the 22-year-old told the club's website: "I wasn't getting much game time at Manchester United, so took the opportunity of coming back on loan this season.
"To now have the chance to make the move permanent and come home to Selhurst Park is something I'm delighted about.
"For me to be a better player I need to play more games and, having a gaffer that, I know, has great trust in me, gives me the confidence I need to help me improve my game.
"I started playing here when I was eight years of age and my family live locally. To have the opportunity to take the field in the Premier League for this club is a dream come true." skysports
