EPL preview: Chelsea welcomes Everton as Man United hosts Burnley

Chelsea's Jose Mourinho will welcome Cesc Fabregas back to the Chelsea side as they welcome Everton FC to the Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League week 25.

The Mourinho-led side defeated Aston Villa 2-1 to extend their lead on the EPL log to seven points after Manchester City failed to beat Hull City in a game that ended 1-1.

Both Diego Costa, who has been serving a three-match ban for stepping on Liverpool's Emre Can in one of their fixtures and Fabregas missed their last game.

Everton on the other hand played a goalless draw in a city derby against Liverpool, occupying the 12th position with 27 points in 24 league games.

If Chelsea wins tonight, and Man City fails to win their game, Chelsea may have one hand on the EPL title eight games to the end of the season, but if City wins their game, the title chase will still be opened except if the Blues slip in their title chase.

Manchester United will avoid another slip up as they host Burnley at the Old Trafford in a bid to keep their top four finish alive.

Just before sharing points with West Ham United last weekend, the Louis van Gaal-side had their grip on the third position but fell on the log when they could not continue in their winning streak in the league.
Third place Southampton welcomes West Ham United to the St Mary's Stadium as they hope to keep their position and play in Europe next season.

The Ronald Koeman-led team defeated the manager-less Queens Park Rangers 1-0, and will come into this game with the confidence of their victory over the weekend against West Ham.
