Spain and FC Barcelona midfielder, Sergio Busquets is set to sign a new four-year deal with the Catalans, which will keep him at the Camp Nou until June 30th 2019.
The contract, which has been scheduled to be signed on Friday at the club's office also include an option to further extend it year after that.
Busquets, who won the 2010 edition of the FIFA world cup in South Africa made his debut with Barcelona's first team in September 2008 in the home league game against Racing Santander and has played 312 more games for the Club since then, winning 16 titles. He is currently the squad’s fourth captain.
