EPL round-up: All top four team won their games on Wednesday

Premier League leaders, Chelsea managed a 1-0 win over Sam Alardyce's West Ham united at the Upton Park on Wednesday night to maintain their five points lead over Manchester City, who are chasing in the second position.

Belgian Eden Hazard gave the Jose Mourinho-led side the all important goal in the 23rd minute via Ramire's cross.

Chelsea have an advantage to push themselves to a comfortable lead  on the log of the league table when they play their outstanding game in the EPL.

The home side had five shots on target from their eighteen shots fired at Chelsea goalkeeper while the Mourinho side were able to provide a goal from their three shots that were on target.

Struggling Manchester United and their City rivals also recorded victories at their centres winning 2-0 and 1-0 respectively.

David Silva and James Milner gave Manuel Pellegrini's side the victory after suffering a defeat in their last league game against Liverpool on Sunday.

City score their goals in each half of the game and are still 5 points behind Chelsea with just 10 games to go to the end of the season.

Ashley Young converted a pass from Newcastle's keeper in the 89th minute to give the Louis Van Gaal side the three points at the St.James' Park to keep them in the 4th position.
