CSKA Moscow of Russia forward, Ahmed Musa is in celebration mood, after helping his side into the semi-finals of the Russian Cup.
He describe the feeling as different for him during his first Russian Cup outing, as the army-owned outfit defeated Krylia Sovetov Samara 1 – 0 to qualify for the last four of the competition.
Before the encounter, the former Kano Pillars and VV Van Venlo of Holland star only made the bench in the third round tie against Torpedo Moscow while he was not named in the 18 – man squad for the second round clash away to Khimik.
The changing moment for Musa and his team-mates came in the 49th minute, when Bebras Natcho netted the match-winner, after firing the ball past the opposing goalkeeper, Evgeny Konyukhov from 25 meters.
The pacy attacker and the Muscovites will face the winner of Kuban versus Mordovia in the semi-finals, which would be the chance for another shot at history by CSKA, who have won the Russian Cup seven times, with their last triumph coming in 2013.
