Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich have launched a €40million bid for Chilean midfielder, Arturo Vidal.
The Juventus star was part of the team that clinched their first ever Copa America title at home after beating Argentina 4-1 on penalties.
The Chilean midfielder, who shone for the Bianconeri last season, joined the Seria A champions in 2011 from Beyer Leverkusen and has won four successive Serie A titles in his time with Juve.
Ahead of his move to Juve, Vidal looked all set to trade the Bay Arena for the Allianz Arena. Bayern had reached a deal with Bayer and reckoned they'd got Vidal locked up.
However, Vidal elected to join Juve and was much criticised by then-Bayern president Uli Hoeness, who slammed Vidal for "breaking his word". mirror
