Former Nigerian international, Etim Esin has commended the Nigeria Football Federation Disciplinary Committee for pardoning Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama and Ogenyi Onazi.
Both players were sanctioned by the NFF after the June 13 African Cup of Nation's qualifiers against Chad in Kaduna.
Enyeama was held on the basis on the insecurity comment he made before the game as regards the venue of the game, while Onazi was fined $5000 for an improper conduct on the pitch of play which led to his dismissal, and will miss Nigeria's next two games.
"Vincent Enyeama and Ogenyi Onazi are two of our current best player's in Europe," "ofcourse, they did the right thing to move our football forward" Etim Esin said
The former Iwuanyanwu Nationale attacking midfielder said this gesture will help Nigerian football move forward, most especially at this point when the Eagles has got a new coach.
Nigeria will travel to Tanzania with their 2-0 victory over Chad in Kaduna, while league leaders, Egypt will also travel to Chad for the match day 2 of the 2017 Afcon qualifiers, staging in Gabon.
