IfeanyiUbah FC Chairman failed to fulfill their part of the agreement- Sani Kaita

Former Super Eagles star Sani Kaita has finally come out to voice out on why he left FC IfeanyiUbah after they failed to meet up with the agreements stipulated in his contract.

The former Sparta Rotterdam midfielder said he had an agreement with the club management on some payments, but they failed to go by this and that all efforts by him to make them to respect his contract failed, prompting him to walk away.

"I had an agreement with the team. I agreed terms with the club chairman, he promised I will get what we agreed in two days. I played four matches for the team, but they failed to fulfill their own part of the agreement,” Sani Kaita informed AfricanFootball.com

"I made several efforts to make them respect the contract, but the chairman never responded. I have all the conversations I had with him. I gave them a time frame to do what they needed to do, but they failed, so I was left with no choice than to leave the team."

The Nigeria international however disclosed he has formally complained to the League Management Company (LMC), Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and FC IfeanyiUbah that he won't go back to the club.

In his words "I won't go back to the club, I already sent letters to the LMC, NFF and the club, stating what actually happened," he said.

He continued, "I won't blame John Obuh for saying I am nowhere to be found because he does not know what happened as he wasn't there when I joined the team and no one will tell him what happened.

He further said, "I thank the club owner, Ifeanyi Ubah, for the chance given me to play for his club. He has good plans and vision for the team. If many other wealthy Nigerians could do same for Nigerian football, it will be better for our country."
