One of Stephen Keshi's opponent at the 1978 Principal's cup, Shakir Baruwa has urged the former Super Eagles coach to move on with his life, saying lawyers will lie to him to get a share of the money he got while serving Nigeria.
The former Mali and Togo boss was fired shortly after leading Nigeria to a 2-0 victory over the Le Sao of Chad on June 13 over his lack of commitment as claimed by his employers.
The former Nigerian international, has since his sack planned to sue his former employer, saying he was defamed in the process of his sack.
Shakir Baruwa says "WHAT IS YOUR GROUND ON DEFAMATION? LAWYERS WILL LIE TO YOU THAT YOU HAVE A CASE TO PUSH WHEREAS THERE IS NOTHING . THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THEY HAVE CALCULATED THE FIVE FIVE MILLIONS YOU HAVE BEEN COLLECTING FROM NFF.
