Barrister Christopher Green, the Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee has said that the NFF have dropped the charges against Lille of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama.
The Nigerian international was summoned to face a disciplinary committee after citing expressing concerns over the security issues in the northern part of Nigeria just before their 2-0 victory over the Le Sao of Chad on June 13.
There were rumours that the 32-year old shot-stopper might be stripped of his captaincy, but Barrister Green has put an end to the speculations of the federation using the big sticks on the goalkeeper.
The chairman disclosed that the issue has been settled, and Enyeama will continue in his capacity as the captain of the nation's national team.
“Enyeama is the captain of the Super Eagles, and he will continue in that capacity.
“The issue has been dealt with administratively, and I can tell you that there is no more problem as Enyeama has been forgiven for his utterances.
“He is eligible to play for the Super Eagles any day and anytime because he does not own us anything,” Green said to supersport.com in Abuja.
Enyeama is now expected to be named in the Super Eagles' squad that will travel to Dares Salam to face Tanzania in September.
