The Nigeria Football Federation's president, Amaju Picnic has disclosed that the law suit filed by the aggrieved former Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi does not bother him or the federation, saying the FA has a solid legal department to deal with the issue.
The former Nigerian international has decided from his former employers to cough out over a billion naira for terminating his contract untimely, adding that he was defamed during the process.
Picnick, who succeeded Aminu Maigari explained that the NFF is more concerned at this period with moving Nigerian football forward during his tenure.
“Accordingly, the legal department of the Nigeria Football Federation has responded to the letter. We have a lot of things to bother ourselves about,” an unperturbed Pinnick told Goal.
He added that there were lots of programmes that could bring positives to Nigerian football and to him that bothers the leadership of the NFF for now than anything else.
“So we are thinking of taking Nigerian football forward and we are not thinking of going back. That is exactly what we are doing.
“Our concern is strictly Nigerian football and how to better what we met. We are not thinking of dragging into something that we know at this point does not hold water.
“So our lawyers have looked at it and have responded accordingly. We have a very good legal team and they have responded. The response is based on the fact of what they saw. That is what I can tell you about the matter for now,” Pinnick said. Goal
