A top official of the Nigeria Football Federation has disclosed that the new Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, might include of the trio of Flying Eagles stars, Musa Mohammed and Kelechi I headache and Moses Simon in his AFCON qualifier sqaud against Tanzania in September.
The former Nigerian international, who was hired by the NFF revealed that he will rebuild the National team with the inclusion of some young players.
“The top three Flying Eagles stars under consideration by the Eagles coach are Musa at rightback as well as Iheanacho and Moses Simon in attack,” the team official said.
“Oliseh already is very much abreast of the exploits with Moses Simon at Gent as he followed him last season.
“He has also followed Musa and Iheanacho when he was on the FIFA study group for the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup, which Nigeria won in style in Abu Dhabi.”
Though, he was labelled unfit by coach Manu Garba and his crew at the 2015 Fifa U-20 world Cup, Iheanacho has been impressive for his English Premier League side, Manchester City.
While, Musa has already settled down at his new Turkish club and looks set to enjoy first-team football sooner rather than later, while Moses Simon is a fixture at Gent, who recently won the Belgium Super Cup to add to their historic league title from last season.
Oliseh will name his foreign pros for the Tanzania match next month and they are expected to fly directly to the East African nation for the AFCON clash fixed for the weekend of September 4-6. AfricanFootball
