Former Nigerian International, Austin Eguavoen has backed the Nigeria Football Federation for considering Sunday Oliseh for the Super Eagles head coach job.
The federation confirmed that both parties (NFF and Oliseh) have reached an understanding but are waiting to finalise the agreement and then sign the contract.
The former Eagles right full back said his former teammate has what it takes to lead the nation's senior national team to the promise land, adding that all Nigerians must support him if they want him to succeed.
"Well, I dont think anybody will raise eyebrow, he's experienced and he's qualified to coach any team and since NFF have chosen him, everyone should go ahead and support him."
He was the best defensive midfielder Nigeria ever had, not becuase he scored goals but because he always worked hard and gives his best which i no he will translate to the Eagles team.
"Oliseh will come in with a youthful mentality, he should be flexible but NFF should also trust him. Both of them should remain on the same page and there won't be any problem." Eguavoen concluded
