The 6th edition of the Hope for Girls Basketball clinic has been scheduled to hold from the 4th to 10th of August for people at Sango Otta, and also in Lagos on 7th-12th of the same month.
This program, is the pet project of former Nigeria international basketball player, Mobolaji Akiode to give girls with potentials but have no resources pursue a dream in playing basketball.
The clinics are open to any girls 16 and under, and Sango Otta resumes by 1pm while those at the Rowe Park in Lagos by 3pm.
Meanwhile the national camp will be held from August 6th to the 8th at the National Stadium and will feature 55 girls from all over West Africa including those with special needs, making it the most inclusive camp till date.
This all unfolds in direct partnership with Fiba Africa Zone 3 as well as with support from the Better Africa Foundation and the First City Monument Bank.
H4g going by their previous successes, is expecting a huge turn out and participants are advised to arrive early.
