Barcelona Football Club have confirmed the transfer of 28-year old Spanish winger, Pedro Rodriguez to Chelsea for €30 million.
The attacker was instrumental to Barcelona's 2015 UEFA cup triumph previous weekend after netting an extra-time goal to help the Catalans clinch their 4th title in a calendar year.
Pedro flew to London on Thursday to complete his move after passing medical, and he's going to join former teammate, Fabregas at the Bridge.
The European champions have congratulated the 28-year old on his new journey to greatness and also thanked him for helping the Blaugrana win titles while at the club.
"FC Barcelona and Chelsea FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Pedro RodrÃguez for 30 million euros, of which 3 million are dependent on performance," read a statement from Barca.
"The Club wishes to publicly express its gratitude to Pedro RodrÃguez for his professionalism and dedication while with the Club, as well as to wish him all the best in the future."
Pedro won three champions league titles, five la liga titles, three UEFA Super cup, four Spanish super cup, two club world cup and three Spanish Cup during his spell at the Nou Camp with 99 goals to credit.
