Manchester City moved to the top of the English Premier League table after thumbing defending champions, Chelsea 3-0 on Sunday evening.
Sergio Aguero gave his side the lead in the 31st minute after he was denied three times by Chelsea keeper Asmir Begovic before finally finding the net with a goal after Yaya Toure's pass.
The defending champions were not purposeful in the game as Eden Hazard was the only Chelsea player forcing Joe Hart into his only serious save.
Vincent Kompany made it 2-0 with a header from David Silva's corner before Fernandinho fired home from 18 yards.
Brazilian Fernandinho made it three for City as he drove a powerful shot to the corner of the net.
