Jordan Ibe Puts Nigeria On Hold Till December 2016

Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has revealed that Liverpool winger, Jordon Ibe, will decided whether to commit his international future to Nigeria next year December.

The former Nigerian international since his unveiling as the new Eagles coach has been shopping for A-list players, whom he wants to feature in his Super Eagles team and, in the process has met with Chelsea's Victor Moses, John Mikel Obi, both who were on the bench in their EPL opener against Swansea and then, Ibe.
 
Oliseh, who is due in Nigeria this week to kick off preparations for the Tanzania AFCON clash disclosed that the player has also discussed with his 42-year-old Nigerian father, David, on the prospects of featuring for the three-time African champions.

“He has consulted with his family and he now wants to wait a little longer till when he’s 21 and that will be in 2016 before he decides on the direction of his international career,” a top source informed only AfricanFootball.com

Meanwhile, Nigeria will have to wait until December 2016 for Ibe to clock 21 before deciding where his future lies.

Ibe has already represented England at U18, U19 and U20 levels.
