Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala has been ruled out of the 11th All African Games championship due to a knee injury.
The reigning CAF African Women’s player of the Year, who missed her side's cracker against Equitorial Guinea last month which led to Nigeria's failure to book a spot in Rio Olympics in 2016 will be out for at least 2 months as revealed by the Reds officials.
Meanwhile the caretaker coach of the Nigeria’s women national team, Christopher Danjuma, who disclosed this insists that he's expecting Desire Oparanozie and Esther Sunday and at least two other foreign based players ahead of the games in Congo Brazaville next month.
“The Liverpool doctor has informed us that Oshoala is nursing a knee injury and she will be sidelined for at least two months,” said Danjuma." AfricanFootball
