Liverpool Football Club have confirmed the signing of Taiwo Awoniyi and immediately sent him on loan to FSV Frankfurt on loan.
The 18-year-old, who has also featured for the Nigeria's U-23 team before joining the Reds joins the Reds played for Imperial Academy in Nigeria.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: “This is the biggest club in the world and I’m privileged to be here.
“I’ll try to develop myself very well so that when I come back to Liverpool I’ll be able to add value to the team.
“When I’m in the red shirt, I will always give my very best to make the fans happy.”
Awoniyi won the FIFA U-17 world cup in 2013 and in 2015 won the African Youth Championship in Senegal before a dismal performance at New zealand.
