MFM Fc are closer to their Nigeria's Professional Football League Debut following their 1-0 victory over their opponent J Atete at the Agege Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The lone goal that separated the two sides came in latter period of the game (around 77th minute) through a deflected freekick after both sides had laboured for that goal which they both needed.
Just immediately after the goal was scored, the Atete boys actually threatened to boycott the remains of the match due to a bad officiating claim at the home ground of the host at the Agege stadium.
MFM remains on top of the Division B2 log with 22 points while J Atete are four points shy of the league leaders on the third spot with 15 points.
