Oliseh Plans To Invite Five Home-Based Players In His 23-Man List

A top Nigeria Football Federation's official has revealed that the Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh wants 18 foreign and 5 domestic league players in his squad for their African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania in September.

The former Nigerian international has met with Mikel, Moses and most recently, Liverpool forward, Jordan Ibe for the Eagles rebuilding process, the NFF have urge the gaffer to increase the number of NPFL players to be invited.

The NFF have also disclosed that the federation and planning to fix a friendly game for Nigeria after the Afcon qualifiers few days later.

“Oliseh wants to list 18 professionals from overseas for the match in Tanzania, while five places will be left for the players in the local league. But some have asked that he increases the number of the players from the league,” a top official informed AfricanFootball.com

The foreign-based are expected to team up with the team in Tanzania, while the NPFL players will start camping 
The Eagles training camp is on Sunday, August 16, in Abuja.
