The captain of the South African Rugby Football Team, Victor Matfield has expressed his disappointment after the Springbok failed to reach the final of the 2015 edition of the Rugby world cup.
But explained that a bronze medal is better than nothing after defeating Argentina 24-13 in their third place match played on Friday.
"We would loved to have played tomorrow but unfortunately things didn't go our way. We have a lot of respect for Argentina. A bronze medal is better than fourth place. I'm just so relieved we won the game. We'll have a beer with Schalk Burger and the guys I've spent so much of my life with."
Argentina had more possession but south Africa won more tackles with 14-4 turnovers in favour of the Springbok. Bbc
