BBC have revealed that they will announce a five-man shortlist for this year's BBC African Footballer of the Year award on Saturday at the Kaizer Chiefs' training ground in Johannesburg.
The event will be live on BBC World News (from 10:10 GMT), BBC World Service (10:06) and the BBC Sport website (09:30)
African football fans are the ones to decide who overthrows Algeria's Yacine Brahimi- the current holder of the award on 30 November to vote.
Saturday's launch programme will look back at the history of the award and feature a special report on the global impact African footballers are having.
