Cowrie RFC of Lagos player, Ekpo Samuel has said that representing Nigeria at the 2016 Olympics qualifiers scheduled for this weekend is a great honour for him and most especially, his career.
Ekpo will be representing Nigeria for the first time as the country battle for a ticket in South Africa, with Uganda, Zimbabwe and
Zambia as major contenders in the qualifiers.
He further explained that this is more important to him because he's a part of the team to represent Nigeria on the Rugby stage in 1st ever Olympics qualifiers.
Ekpo said in the team's Southern Sun hotel in Johannesburg that being selected to represent the country out of over 150million Nigerians is a national honor which he will cherish for the rest of his life.

He finally called on millions of Nigerians to see Rugby as they see football and celebrate rugby players as they will celebrate football players whenever they achieve any good result on the international scene.
