Premier League defending champions, Chelsea have sacked Jose Mourinho on Thursday afternoon after owner Roman Abramovich held extensive talks with senior club figures.
Mourinho led Chelsea to the Premier League title only seven months ago and signed a new four-year contract in the summer.
But this season has been an unmitigated disaster, with Monday night's defeat to Leicester the club's NINTH in just 16 games.
