Guus Hiddink's Arrival Improved Dressing Room Atmosphere- John Mikel Obi

Super Eagles and Chelsea midfielder, John Obi-Mikel, has admitted that the Blues new manager, Guus Hiddink arrival to the Bridge has brought an improvement in the atmosphere around the club.

Mourinho was dismissed from Stamford Bridge just five months after lifting the Premier League title, following a dreadful start to the domestic season.

And the Netherlands 2005 FIFA U20 silver medalist has assured that results will start trailing the change of manager at the club.

And while Chelsea remain rooted in the bottom half of the table going into 2016, Mikel believes the mood in the dressing room has been lifted since Guus Hiddink took over.

"We've moved on from and the atmosphere has improved since the change of manager," Mikel affirmed.

"It's fine now, we've just not been getting results.

"Jose is a fantastic manager and will always be a fantastic guy. But sometimes football is a cruel game and you have to move on.

"He came back to the club a second time and won two trophies, but now he's gone and we have to move on. Is it the right decision? Who knows? We'll only see in the future."
The Nigeria international had struggled for playing time this season, and said that lack of minutes means he struggles to see where things went wrong.

"I've been as confused as everyone else," he confessed.

“It's difficult when you're not playing, as you don't really know what the problems are.

"I wasn't playing that much under Mourinho so couldn't put my finger on what was going wrong. It was a collective thing - the players and the manager were not performing." Goal
