Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye has debunked rumours about power tussle between assistant coach Salisu Yusuf and Jean Francois Luscuito in the absence of ailing Sunday Oliseh.
It is believed that former Enyimba coach, Salisu Yussuf isn't comfortable reporting to Luscuito, who has no knowledge of Nigerian league football, as the team prepare for CHAN at the training camp in Abuja.
“There is not rift between the coaches. I don’t know where these stories are coming because they have been working together very well,” countered team spokesman Toyin Ibitoye.
Oliseh has designated Luscuito as the Eagles No.2 man ahead of former Pillars and Enyimba coach Yusuf, who is believed to have a better understanding of the Nigeria league and the players. Africanfootball
