Guinea head coach, Mohamed Kanfory Bangoura, has expressed satisfaction with the performance of his team following the 1-0 victory over Super Eagles on Tuesday.
Guinea progressed to the next round of the African Nations Championship with 5 points, same as group leaders Tunisia.
The coach said it was a great pleasure to make it through quarter finals of the championship on their very first appearance, adding that it was a great pleasure to beat Nigeria in that game.
"I’m very satisfied with the performance of the team."
"This is our first time at the tournament and we are in the quarter finals. We had a plan tactically and technically although there are some mistakes that we will have to work on ahead of the next game."
