AS Monaco defender, Elderson Echiejile, will be sidelined by a hamstring injury for “a couple of weeks”.

The Nigeria defender disclosed that he suffered the injury while training with his French Ligue 1 side and has been told he will out for some weeks.

“I picked up a hamstring in training on Tuesday and I will be out for a couple of weeks,” Elderson told his official website www.elderson3.com

This season, the 27-year-old Elderson has made 12 appearances in Ligue 1 for Monaco, who are now second on the table behind runaway leaders and defending champions PSG with 32 points from 19 matches. Africanfootball
