The Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, has described the death of its Head of Protocol, Ibrahim Abubakar as a monumental loss, saying the 43-year old Ibrahim, was an outstanding staff.
Abubakar in the early hours of Wednesday murdered by armed robbers in his home at Kado Estate near Gwarinpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
"He was full of life when he left the office yesterday; the Federation has lost a dedicated and assiduous staff. This is so painful."
'Ibro' as he is fondly called, joined the Nigeria Football Federation in 2007. He will be buried later today at his residence in Kaduna according to Islamic rites.
He is survived by a wife and three boys. May his gentle soul rest in peace, Amen NFF
