Olympiacos and Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye has expressed excitement after kicking off the new year with a goal in Sunday's fixture against Panionois in the Greek topflight.
The Nigerian international scored his side's 3rd goal in the 79th minute of their Greece Super League game, after Alejandro Dominguez and Felipe Pardo had given the visitors the lead earlier in the game.
Ideye, who joined Olympiacos from West Bronwich Albion has now scored six goals in his last 19 games for the Greek giants, topping the league with 48points after 16 games.
AEK Athens are next to them on the log with 30 points.
Ideye has never got a call-up to the Super Eagles since the arrival of Sunday Oliseh last year July.
