The Super Eagles of Nigeria are 66th in the latest Fifa rankings released on Thursday, the same level they ranked in the December 2015 edition.
The three-time African champions also remained14th in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Senegal, Congo, Guinea, Cameroon, Egypt, Congo DR, Uganda, Mali.
The Elephants are the best team on the continent 950 points which put them in the 19th position in the world while Algeria are second in Africa and ranked 28th in the world.
Ghana stay third on the continent after amassing 766 points which places them in the 33rd spot in the world.
Belgium remain top of the table, while Argentina and Spain have also held onto their respective second and third positions.
