The Nigeria Football Federation disclosed that plans have been concluded to send Nigeria's various national team coaches to Europe on internship programs.
The coaches will learn under top managers in France when Europe in 2016 championship begins in the summer, but insisted it will be done when the NFF can afford to carry out the assignment.
The federation's secretary, Dr. Sanusi Mohammed, dropped the hint that plans are in the pipeline to ensure the likes of Sunday Oliseh, Samson Siasia and other national team coaches understudy some of the best coaches in the world once the governing body’s finances are in good shape.
The program requires our coaches to be part of club training as well as undergo scientific training on how to manage and get the best from players and more importantly get themselves abreast with modern trends of the game.
“We intend to commence the attaché programmes for all national team coaches once we’re able to afford it,” Sanusi told Completesportsnigeria.com. “It is important we keep the coaches abreast with the latest tricks of the game. That programme will commence very soon.” Completesport
