Sunshine Stars have
rejected a $250,000 bid from Esperance Super Eagles B player, Paul Onobi.The Nigerian premier league side said that the fee the Tunisian side offered for their player fall far short of the valuation for the player.
However, the Tunis club were only prepared to spend about $250,000 for the player.
“You do not pay such amount for someone who is already establishing himself in the Nigeria national team,” said a source.
“It’s far short of the club’s valuation of the player, so there is no meeting ground.” africanfootball
