Barrister Chris Green Tips Emmanuel Amunike As Next Super Eagles Coach

Nigeria Football Federation's technical committee chairman, Chris Green, has hinted that the newly promoted Flying Eagles manager, Emmanuel Amunike could be the next Super Eagles manager if he can the FIFA U20 cup.

The former Super Eagles winger, who won the FIFA U17 championship in Chile in 2015 has been promoted to the national U20 team, succeeding his former boss, Manu Garba, and he will be expected to help Nigeria to her first U20  world title.

“He has already won the U17 World cup and has now been taken up to the U20s with his boys. And should he now deliver again, he could take over the U23s or even the Super Eagles,” declared Green.

Amunike was also a part of the technical crew that won the 2013 edition of the FIFA U17 world cup in the United Arab Emirate. Africanfootball
