Super Eagles and Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi scored his first UEFA champions league goal on Tuesday night in his side's 2-1 loss at Parc des Princes stadium in France.
The Nigerian international cancelled Swede's Zlatan Ibrahimovic's 39th minute opener for the Ligue
1 giants just at the end of first half, but his lone goal for the blues wasn't enough to earn the Guus Hiddink's men, ahead of the second leg at the Bridge.
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager, Guus Hiddink, said: The result is negative but on the other hand an away goal is important. It hurt a bit because the team was playing decently against a team with capacity to play. But we are still in the race. Over two legs, it is important you have the away goal. If we can do it at Stamford Bridge then a defeat doesn't count so much."
Gary Cahill, Chelsea defender: "We are more confident at home, we know what we need to do. We knew how tough it was to come here and get a result. The way the tie is poised, we have done it before at home."
Branislav Ivanović, Chelsea defender: "We come here with courage to try and score the goals. We had a couple of chances before they scored, we lost concentration in the end. We were a little bit open. Top strikers like PSG have, they take every single chance. We have to be more compact and more careful, these small details can decide a game."
PSG defender, David Luiz, "Only a narrow win, but a win against a good team. I think we gave it our all tonight and got the win we wanted. Sure, it could have been better. We made many opportunities. We have good feelings. It's already a good step to take the first leg."
