Dele Alampasu Ruled Out Brazil Friendly Game

Dream Team invitee, Dele Alampasu, has been ruled out of the proposed friendly game against Brazil which has been scheduled for Thursday next week in Brazil.

The 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup –winning goalkeeper was diagnosed with an acute appendicitis ‎on
March 8 and had to be operated upon immediately, and his club doctor, Alexandre Brandao, confirmed to the Nigeria Football Federation in a letter, saying the 
shot-stopper will be out of sporting activities for between two to three weeks.

The report added that the player is still in hospital recuperating from the operation.

With this situation, the Dream Team will now head to Brazil with only two goalkeepers - Emmanuel Daniel and Yusuf Mohammed.
