NFF Set To Hire Ugandan National Team Coach For Super Eagles

The Nigeria football Federation seem unrepentant of their mistake when they hired recently resigned coach Sunday Oliseh, as they have began the process of hand-picking another coach, whose impact has not been felt in the African continent in the last decade.

The Amaju-Pinnick led NFF appointed Sunday Oliseh July last year after the dismissal of Stephen Keshi for allegedly applying for Ivory Coast coaching job, but the 41 year old pundit/coach resigned from the Super Eagles job, blaming it on violation of contract and unpaid dues by his employers.

Meanwhile, in the wake of this development, the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick vowed never to hire
a local coach as Eagles manager, and this has made some of the federation's members to have been in contact with
Uganda coach, Sredojevic  Milutin to be named Nigeria’s next coach, after Samson Siasia, who's in charge on a temporal basis.

Reports have it that the NFF technical committee chairman, Chris Green has already opened up discussions with the Serbian coach and his representatives since the CHAN in Rwanda.

“Green met with Micho at CHAN and it is like it is already a done deal. The plan was to appoint Shuaibu Amodu for the Egypt matches and after those games, a substantive foreign coach will be named with Micho already in pole position,” a top official told AfricanFootball

“But Amodu declined the post because he is hypertensive and so the temporary arrangement of Siasia and co, who have been clearly told they will revert to their previous posts after the matches against Egypt.”

Another source also told AfricanFootball.com: “Micho’s representatives have told me they have established a link with the NFF for quite some time now.”

The 46-years old Serbian was a striker during his playing days before he began his managerial career- Amng the teams he has managed are South Africa's Orlando Pirates, Rwanda national team coach and he's currently the head coach of the Ugandan national team.

This man has managed Uganda and Rwanda, and both teams have not had impact in the continent in the last decade, what are we expecting him to do for the Super EAgles???
