Odion Ighalo Confident Nigeria Will Beat Egypt

Super Eagles forward, Jude Odion Ighalo, has admitted that the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt will be tough, but insists Nigeria will come out tops at the end of the day.

The former Granada forward explained that all the team needed
do is work hard and leave every other thing to God.

Nigeria currently trail the Pharaohs with two points and four goals as they hope for victory on March 25 in Kaduna.

"With the list the coach has released and with lots of hard work, I think we are going to win, I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but with God on our side but I'm confident of scaling through."

The Nigerian international also said that former Cameroon captain, Samuel Eto'o is his African idol, while Austin Okocha among a few others made the. Nigerian cut.

"Samuel Eto'o is my most adored African player while the likes of Kanu Nwankwo, Austin Okocha, Osaze Odemwingie and some other are my Nigerian idols."

"My top three Nigerian players ever are Jay Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu and any other player."

"Sergio Aguero is the best striker in the English premier league at the moment while Laurent Koscieny and Kurt Zouma are the most difficult defenders I've played against."

"I can't choose between these two players, Lionel Messi is magical while Cristiano Ronaldo is hard working. Both of them are the best in the world at the moment."

"I've always loved Manchester United but I've been trying avoid issues because fans are already accusing me of bias, people are saying I didn't score against united  because I'm a fan of the club."

"This is a difficult question- but I think the top four teams have the opportunity. I think for me Arsenal can win with experience, because when the league reaches the last few games, experience will separate the boys from the men."

"I rejected the China move because it's not my time yet and when it is time for me to leave, I will go."

"When I was younger, my parents wanted me to go to school so, I'm not sure what I will be doing right now really- may be lecturing, not sure."

"I just want to thank you guys for all the support both in the good and bad times, I'm so grateful. I'm promising you guys to continue to do my best in life, both to my club and my country, and together we will reach the greatest height in Jesus name."Ighalo said on Brilafm
