Olawale Isiaka Says Giwa Must Work Harder After Beating Ikorodu United

Giwa FC midfielder, Olawale Isiaka, has commended his side's performance against Ikorodu United at the Onikan stadium on Sunday, which ended 2-1 in favour of the visitor.

David Sunday gave the visitors the lead in the early minutes of the game but was cancelled by
Ikorodu United's Ifegwu Ojukwu in the 19th minute.

The Lagos club had maintained the 1-1 draw until just about the final two minutes of the game when Amos Gyang's dynamite shot hit the back of the net to give the Jos side all three points.

Olawale, who joined Giwa from the defunct Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt also said that the officiating was superb, adding that fatigue marred their performance in the game.

"Nice officiating and also good performance from us despite the fatigue"

"They were also good side but I think they to need fortify the team with some experience players so that those mature players can carry the young ones along."

"If they can do that I believe they will still bounce back."

"We are playing El kanemi next."

"Well with that we just have to put our house in order for us to get our maximum three point."

"We need to put more extra effort."

"Yea not too much but we need to improve in all department." he told tomiwababalola.com in a phone chat

He also said that his side must work a bit harder than they do at the moment, and fortify the team to stand a chance of getting something out of the ongoing season.
