CAF Champions League: Anyasi Agu Warns Enyimba Against Complacency

Enyinba international chairman, Felix Anyasi Agu, has warned his side not to be complacent when they take on Ã‰toile du Sahel on Wednesday night in the second leg of their CAF champions league clash.

The Nigerian side won the first leg at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium in Port Harcourt previous
Sunday with Mfon Udoh grabbing a hatrick in that encounter, and the chairman has said that their jubilation will be postponed until the task is completed.

"We are happy that we won the first leg but the job is not done yet. We still have 90 minutes to battle out in Sousse (Tunisia) for the ticket. We are not celebrating just yet until we return from Tunisia," Anyansi told Cafonline

"Football is very unpredictable so we are going to approach the second leg as if it is a final. Who says we can't concede three goals if we fail to prepare adequately.  We are going to work round them and be one of the teams in the group stage of the competition," he added.

The two time champions, who are also the last Nigerian club standing on the continent have a chance of appearing at the group stage of the competition for the first time since 2011, if they are able to hold on to their victory in Tunisia.

The winner qualifies to the group stage of the premier continental club championship with the winner dropping to the second-tier CAF Confederation Cup.
