Enyimba striker, Mfon Udoh, has reiterated his side's commitment to progress into the group stage of the CAF champions league, as they Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia on Wednesday night at the Olympic Stadium, Sousse in the second round, second leg tie.
The NPFL's all time highest goal scorer guided the Aba Elephants to an emphatic 3-0 first leg
advantage at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, and Udoh said his side are ready to face the Tunisians’ challenge.
"I want to assure Nigerians that we will get to Tunisia and ensure that we qualify for the group stage of the competition. The North Africans are a very difficult side to beat but I am very confident that we won’t be eliminated."
"I will ensure I do everything possible within my reach including adding to the ones I have already if that will help us to get to the next round."
Enyimba versus Etoile du Sahel clash comes up by 7pm local time on Wednesday as CAF has resolved to hold champions league games to give participating teams chance to play their domestic games during weekends.
"We are reacting to a request from some national associations, who want more weekends free for domestic competitions," a CAF spokesman said.
