Greece League Title Excites Nigeria's Brown Ideye

Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye, has expressed excitement after winning the Greece Premier League with Olympiacos, saying it reminded him of the 2013, when he wont he African Cup of Nations title with Nigeria.

 The former West Bromwich Albion striker scored his side's 5th goal over AEL Kalloni FC to clinch the title with 30 points difference with the first runners up, AEK Athens, who have 57 points from 30 games.

"Great and emotional day for me. The last time I felt this way was at AFCON 2013. So Excited!1st league Win in my career," Ideye tweeted.

The Nigerian international has scored about 10 goals in his 23 appearances for the Greece Premier League giants, since he joined the club last summer from West Brom.

Meanwhile, his national team, John Ogu and Elderson Echiejile have congratulated Ideye on winning the league.

This also means that Ideye will be one of Nigerian players that will be playing in the champions league next season, not forgetting that he scored against Arsenal in the group stage of the 2015/16 season.
