Manuel Pellegrini Shower Praises On Nigeria's Kelechi Iheanacho

Manchester City manager, Manuel Pellegrini is full of praise for Nigeria's Kelechi Iheanacho, after the youngster helped his side to a 4-0 victory over Stoke City on Saturday.

The Super Eagles forward scored in the 64th and 74th minutes of the game, after giving City a penalty in the first half which was converted by Argentine's Sergio Aguero.

The Nigerian international was equally voted the man of the match for his two goals and an assist in the game which moved City one spot up on the premier league table

Pellegrini said after the match: "Kelechi is a player with an important role at this Club. He played very well and his contribution is important. I am very pleased."

The boss also disclosed that his side heavy schedule in the next 30 days required him to rotate his team so as not to cause fatigue and avoid needless injuries.

"The most important thing was the result but we need to play eight games in 30 days so it was important to make rotations."
