Maurice Cooreman, Akwa United head coach has expressed confidence in his side following their Nigeria Professional Football League week 13 game against Enyimba on Sunday, saying his team cannot afford to drop any point again at home.
The former Ikorodu United manager said this while preparing for the game against the NPFL defending champions.
"As you can see we are training morning and evening. All my boys are responding to the level training I have given them, all of them are fit for any match except Adio who is still having injury. I believe he will be okay soon.
"My boys have assured me they will beat Enyimba in that class. Who is afraid of Enyimba? We will beat them here in Uyo.
"I know it will be a tough match, but I can assure you that Enyimba cannot have it here in Uyo. We have been winning them and we will maintain that glory," a boastful Cooreman told npfl.ng.
Akwa United welcome influential winger, Ubong Ekpai, who is back from trials in Israel, while the Peoples Elephant are expected to name a strong side fresh from their Champions League triumph in Tunisia.
