Enugu Rangers have once again taken the top position on the Nigeria Professional Football league table after beating visiting Nasarawa United 2-1 on Friday night at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu.
Bobby Clement gave the home team the lead in the 24th minute while Obinna Nwobodo doubled the
Flying Antelopes lead in the 56th minute with a sublime finish.
Clement's opening goal was a punishment for the visitors, who had a couple of chances early in the game but failed to convert those chances to goal.
Meanwhile, the introduction of Lordson Ichull eighteen minutes before time turn the game around for the Solid Miners as they pressured the Imama Amapakabor's defense to grind out a penalty, which was converted by Seun Sogbeso in the 76th minute.
Rangers now lead with 24 points from 12 games, with their game against Giwa FC yet to be concluded.
This is the first time since 2013 that Rangers will record a win over the Solid Miners,
