The Nigeria Football Federation have confirmed that Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf, will be in charge of the national team for the double friendly games coming up against Mali and Luxembourg.
The three-time Afcon champions are scheduled to battle Mali in Paris on May 27, while their game against Luxembourg will be played on June 1 at a venue yet to be decided.
Both matches are to prepare the Eagles for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, which begin in October,
and the former Enyimba coach, who just returned from an internship in Scotland has been saddled with the Eagles job pending the arrival of a substantial manager.
The technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) rose from their meeting on Wednesday in Abuja and recommended Yusuf to lead the Eagles for the two matches.
He will be assisted by two coaches from the Premier League.
He has coached Enyimba and Kano Pillars. Africanfootball
